On January 13th, 2012 the Costa Concordia struck an underwater rock and capsized near Isola del Giglio in Tuscany, Italy. Despite the efforts made during the rescue operation, 34 lives were claimed during this tragic event. It took several years for the ship to be re-floated and brought back to the dockyards to be finally scrapped to bits and pieces in 2017.
My version of the Costa Concordia features its original design, before the event, built at a 1:1400 scale like my other cruise ships and ocean liner models.
Tell me what you think about this MOC!
