LEGO CITY CENTRAL PARK DISTRICT MOC

216 PCS. | MOC #0056

This design is part of my Architecture themed LEGO MOCs featuring various modular sets of city districts with unique buildings and building techniques.

In this particular setup, the primary features are of of course the green areas situated on the lower left corner of the LEGO MOC. A few trees, some green plates and a rectangular pond define the very name of the LEGO City Central Park District MOC.

The LEGO park is surrounded by quite a few buildings of different types.

First you have the residential buildings:

  • The dark tan piece building using modified 1×2 plates to imitate large panoramic balconies.
  • The white and transparent pair of buildings located just a stud away from the central park, offering a magnificent view on the central park.
  • The pair of twin towers using 1×2 grill plates attached onto 1×1 indented SNOT bricks.

Then you have the more generic office buildings:

  • The pair of sand-blue and bright blue office buildings.
  • The blue and light-blue 2×2 tower at the upper-right corner of the district.
  • The 2×4 grey and transparent brick office building overlooking the 1×8 passway.
  • The 2×2 black and white office tower at the bottom left corner.

There’s also a pair of 2×3 short buildings which I intended to place as supermarkets, shops or any kind of urban service area.
