The City Beach District groups several types of bright residential buildings which you might encounter in modern coastal cities across the globe. The 1×2 grill pieces are used to either imitate balconies or windows depending on their placement on these various buildings.

The palm trees along the quays are simply made of 1×1 square and round LEGO pieces.
